Food Bank for the Heartland provides provides emergency and supplemental food to people who are going through a hard time.
They are the largest food bank in Nebraska and Iowa with 535 food pantries that supply schools, emergency shelters and other nonprofit partners.

This is not the first time Dr. Chang has helped her community.
In her downtime, Dr. Chang set up a Toy Give-away
for over 800 children in need through the South YMCA program while partnering with State Farm Insurance. She organized the event, managed the budget, handpicked and purchased all the toys.
She has volunteered for YMCA on many other occasions in the past for overnighters, supervision of kids, outings with teens and school-age children. Most of these activities took part through the local Omaha Metropolitan YMCA via the South YMCA.
She also worked and volunteered for the the Charles Drew Health Center as an acting Dental Director and Dentist.
Dr. Chang continues to help her community with many future events and food drives like this one.
Galen Anding is the husband of Dr. Chang, and he also has experience in helping out in their community. Anding has volunteered for the YMCA, acted as board member for The One Hundred Black Men of Omaha, and was a mentor to youth for more than 4 years. He was also a youth camp counselor at various bible camps, including the Timber-lake Ranch Camps.

Anding Family Dental is an Omaha based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. Dr. Michelle Chang is a native of Honolulu, Hawaii! Graduating from Creighton School of Dentistry in 1997, she has found her home in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Chang and husband Galen combined their talents in 2003 to open their practice, Anding Family Dental, here in Omaha, Nebraska. They have been in practice for over ten years this last September. They truly enjoy creating an environment where all involved, patients and employees alike, can prosper.
Dr. Chang and Galen have two beautiful sons and love their community. Dr. Chang is loved by her patients and truly gives them her best to transform their smiles, utilizing great skills, the best chairside manner, and a welcoming team. Her goal is to offer complete dentistry through education of preventive health, restoration, and cosmetic dentistry.
