This isn’t his first time helping. Dr. Ben has been reaching out to his community in Downtown Portland for many years. Every month, he spends his time volunteering with Medical Teams International. This program brings free dentistry to those who cannot afford it. Dr. Ben loves to stay active for a good cause, so he regularly attends events such as the Bubble Run, Portland Marathon, and other community activities.

ABOUT DR. BEN
Dr. Ben was born in New York but spent most of his childhood in Taiwan. He is fluent in Chinese Mandarin and credits his holistic approach about dental medicine to his eastern upbringing. Dr. Ben received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from University of California at Davis. There he decided that making a career as being a Portland Dentist would be tremendously rewarding and he went on to attain his DMD from Temple University in Philadelphia.
After graduating from dental school, he has dedicated a great deal of time in pursuing the newest techniques and the most advanced technologies in dentistry. Though most patients have been awed by the technology in our downtown Portland Dental Office, it is the caring staff and the humble chair-side manner of Dr. Ben that leaves a long lasting impression. He takes great pride in serving our community in Portland Oregon and cultivating personal relationships with each patient. Outside of work, Dr. Ben enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid runner, enjoys traveling, exploring new places and meeting new people!
